Wellness Club

Advisor: Dawn McEwan

The Wellness Club meets on Tuesdays in Room 007 from 2:30 to 4. The focus of the group is to promote wellness or "the quality or state of being healthy in body and mind" amongst the students here at MAUHS. Some of the goals include:
  • Building skills around working with others
  • Promote regular physical activity and nutrition (ex. Zumba, Walks, Healthy Snacks, etc)
  • Encourage creativity, learning and problem solving
  • Building awareness and acceptance of one's self
  • Stress management
  • Living a lifestyle that is respectful of the environment
