Red Cross Volunteer Club

Advisor: Brooke Remington

The mission of the MAUHS Red Cross Volunteer Club is to get students involved in the community through service activities. The Volunteer Club's goal is to work with the Red Cross and other non-profit agencies to inspire students to be productive lifelong community service leaders. Our club also allows students to connect with their peers from across the country and around the world as they serve under the symbol of the largest international humanitarian organization in the world. We will plan and implement projects that will save hundreds of lives from blood drives to disaster preparedness education. The Volunteer Club's mission is in line with the SVSU School Board's community partnership goal and with National Honor Society requirements for community service. Club membership and volunteerism are also looked at favorably when applying for college admission and employment.
